Tasty Food

Do you know steamed foods are better than fried foods? Steaming the eatable items avoid overcooking and burning. It prevents spoiling the nutrients and minerals present in the food items which the fried items do to great extent.

Steamed foods are poor in taste, especially vegetables when they are half boiled or steamed. But some steamed foods like appam, puttu, kozhakattai etc are delicious and tasty to eat. Steaming the food requires very less time when compared to the other ways of cooking the dishes. But, the only disadvantage is that, it needs high amount of heat energy.

After all, steamed foods are healthier, because they avoid many health problems like cholesterol, indigestion etc. These foods are highly advised by doctors for people especially above the age of 40 yrs. These foods make people above such ages to be healthier and free from some health disorders.
