IN-SITU CONSERVATION OF SPECIES

IN-SITU conservation of animals is nothing but protecting the species in our custody. To prevent the extinction of any species in our world we follow two methods of conservation. One of the methods is in-situ conservation. One of the best examples of this type of conservation is ZOO. Here we give food and shelter for their healthy growth. But this has many disadvantages like they lose their natural habits if we leave them again in forest they can’t survive. The other conservation method is EX-SITU conservation where we protect them in their circumstance. This may help them not to lose their natural characteristics. So conservation is must to save our species and the EX-SITU conservation is far better than the IN-SITU.
