Perfect Ads
Advertising has been a powerful marketing tool since the advent of print radio and television. Its come a long way from being a scribble on the public walls to a full one minute on TV. There are new commercials being played everyday but only a few really captures our attention. We do love Hrithik and John Abraham dancing and moving their muscular frames on the screen but can any commercial be as good as Vodafone’s all adorable zoo zoo ads or the ones with the ever faithful pugs (now popularly known as hutch dogs)???? AT&T special 5 campaigns that plays on the bonds of friendship are another set of ads one can keep watching. Times of America’s “Teach America” campaign struck a chord somewhere deep down in the viewers’ heart that thousands signed up for the program which aimed at educating under privileged children. Another successful campaign was the one launched by the health ministry of Kabul which spoke of an imaginary character called Dotted King for spreading awareness about AIDS. The ad aroused curiosity among everybody in the age group between 8 to 80. Thus perfect ads are the perfect marketing tools. It all depends on how we project our ideas and products in the most effective and attractive way be it for a cause or for profit.
