Umar akmal, a 19yrs old, fresh player for Pakistan has brought an outstanding victory to his team by his valuable century in the 4th ODI against Sri Lanka. It was ventured at Premadasa stadium on 7th august.
He has put102 runs in 72 balls with five 4s and four 6s. He came to bat in the 26th over when the team’s score was 130 with 4 wickets loss. He joined his captain Younis Khan and added some important runs to his team, thus bringing the first win for Pakistan in the 5 match series.
Umar says that his brother Kamran Akmal has taught him a lot on how to play according to the situations. He feels very happy about his first century and thanks his coach, all his senior players who supported him whole heartedly
