Fastest Man In Football Field
Der Spiegel, a weekly German publication, stated that Ronaldo topped the speed charts at 33.6km per hour (20.88mph).
The Portuguese forward edged the likes of Arjen Robben (Bayern Munich) who came in second at 32.9 kmph, Theo Walcott of Arsenal (32.7) and Wayne Rooney of Man United (32.6). Arsenal striker Robin van Persie was fifth at 32.1kmph.
Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi was not even in the top five.
It seems that Ronaldo's sprint training with sprint king Usain Bolt seems to have paid off. Perhaps Ronaldo should also adopt a cheetah instead of a peacock.
