Inter Milan midfielder Sneijder was taken to hospital after suffering an ankle injury in Saturday's 3-0 friendly win over Japan. The problem was not as serious as first feared but the 25-year-old remains a doubt for tomorrow's Group Nine clash at Hampden.
Asked if Sneijder would be fit to play after his side touched down at Glasgow Airport, Holland assistant coach Frank de Boer said: "We don't know so we have to wait." Sneijder trained yesterday but admitted he was unsure if he would be involved against Scotland. De Boer and his players were keen to stress how seriously Holland would be taking tomorrow night's match, despite having already qualified for the World Cup.
