Engineering colleges or arts colleges?

Is it necessary to study engineering to get the right job? I don’t think so when the present scenario is concerned. Yes, in my opinion where there is talent the door of opportunity opens. It’s not necessary that a person has to waste money in engineering for the sake of getting job alone. If one wants to gain knowledge much deeper then its fine because nowadays arts courses are said to be the miniature of the engineering courses.
