British Airways Makes A Emergency $1b Funding
In this economic downturn to be active in airlines market, British Airways makes a emergency funding nearly a billion dollars. £600 million ($978.6 million) in two ways are release from British Airways. "We're taking action to improve our liquidity and strengthen our position within the industry, "This goes hand in hand with our cost reduction and efficiency initiatives, which are designed to create the right conditions for our sustainable, long-term profitability" said BA Chief Executive Willie Walsh.
